State Championships Toowoomba |
9th - 12th April 2008The 2008 Queensland Police Service Rugby League State Championships will be held at the Clive Berghoffer Oval, Toowoomba from the 9th to the 12th of April 2008. Teams from 8 Police Regions across Queensland will converge on Toowoomba for 4 days of competition and fellowship. With over 300 competitors and 21 years of fantastic history behind this annual event, the thrills and spills are sure to entertain all, as teams battle it out to wrestle the State Champions "Commissioner's Trophy" from last years winners, the Gold Coast Gropers. The Queensland Police Service State Representative Squad will be chosen from this carnival and players must attend these championships to be selected in the State Squad. This years Interstate Challenge will be played against NSW Police in Sydney in late June/early July. Come along and check out the action of Queensland's finest Police officers doing battle in the greatest game of all. |
