ARL Masters Gold Coast |
12th - 15th March 2008The Australian Rugby League Masters will be contested at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast from the 12th to the 15th of March and this year will see the Queensland Police Service Rugby League Association nominate for the first time. The mighty Bulldogs veterans will line up against a record 38 teams nominated for this fantastic event. Players have to be 35 years or older to play, with modified rules introduced to accommodate the skills of the older player. "We are very excited about becoming involved in such a wonderful event for rugby league. This gives our older players and supporters an opportunity to stay involved in the playing side of the game, which I believe is good for everyone involved in Police Rugby League", said Supt Pat Ryan (President). Any person wishing to become involved in the Qld Police Rugby League Masters are urged to contact Snr Sgt Bob Knight at the Brisbane Railway Squad on (07) 3235 1185. |
